What do you enjoy about being at Mississippi State?
I love the friendly atmosphere and the incredible amount of opportunities that you can find on campus!
What is the most important advice you would give students?
If you find that you do not move as fast as your class is making you go, don’t go with it. Find your own pace and learn that understanding concepts is worth more in the future than perfect grades.
Why should students go to SI?
Classes can sometimes move too fast or too slow. If you did not understand how to work out a problem in class, SI is a good place to see problems similar being worked out while also asking questions in a more relaxing environment. If classes spend more time on conceptual and never really get problems, again, SI is great for applying that material so it will not be new to you when tests come around.
What are some of your hobbies/interests?
Learning is my favorite hobby! I like to learn about things like geology, aviation, and automotives but also gardening, languages, cooking and baking, instrument playing, painting. I’m just always finding something new to learn about!
