Title

  • Chemistry II SI Leader

Major: Biochemistry, Pre-Med, Minors in Business Administration and Chemistry

Hometown: Philadelphia, MS

What clubs or organizations are you a part of?
Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity, Physicians on the Rise, American Medical Student Association, Biochemistry Club, Mississippi Rural Physicians Scholarship Program

What do you enjoy most about being at MSU?
The diversity. Being in-state, I thought I would only meet other in-state students; however, I have made friends from all over the country during my time in college.

What is the most important advice that you would give students?
Stay on top of things. The weekends are much more enjoyable when you don't have to worry about submitting assignments or homework.

Why should students go to SI?
Participating in SI allows for you to meet and collaborate with students in similar majors and classes, which can be a huge aid in future studies. Also, it gives a fresh perspective to concepts that can be difficult to understand or apply.
